How do I find out if Jan’s Towing towed my car?
If you are the current registered owner and have your License Plate number or the vehicle identification number available you can call the office at (626) 914-1841 and a representative will be happy to assist you

How can I get my car back?
If a Law Enforcement Agency ordered your vehicle to be towed you may need a vehicle release form from the Law Enforcement Agency that had your vehicle towed and you would need to contact that department to find out first if you need a release and second what they require to issue a release

If your vehicle was towed because you were involved in an accident a release is probably not required.  If you are the current registered owner you can come to our office and retrieve your vehicle or you can release the vehicle to your insurance company as long as no Law Enforcement hold exists

Does my car have to stay at Jan’s Towing for 30 days?
There are several violations which would allow the Law Enforcement Agency to hold your vehicle for 30 days. For more information on when you can retrieve your vehicle please contact the Law Enforcement Agency which sited the violation

What happens if I do not retrieve my vehicle?
A Lien Sale is conducted on all vehicles stored at Jan’s Towing over 72 hours.  If vehicles are not recovered by the sale date Jan’s Towing will sell the vehicle at public auction and the last responsible party will be sent to collections on any amount of the tow and storage bill not covered by the sale

When is the next Auction?
Jan’s Towing has an auction every Saturday, registration begins at 9:30 and the auction begins at 10:00 a list of cars available for sale is posted on our web site every Tuesday evening   All sales are final, there is no warranty and payment is CASH ONLY

The Auction is held at our Azusa Location-1045 W Kirkwall Rd, Azusa, CA 91702

What types of vehicles can be towed by Jan’s Towing?
All regular passenger vehicles(cars, vans, suv’s,p/u trucks), buses, limos, medium and heavy duty trucks, tractors, trailers, motor homes, 5th wheels, boats, motorcycles, forklifts and misc. equipment

Does Jan’s Towing offer services other that towing?
Yes, we offer jumpstarts, fuel delivery, lock outs, and tire changes

What is “Tipsy Tow”?
This is a free (within 7 miles) tow service provided to individuals who have been drinking and their vehicles to get them home safely with no questions asked

What types of payment are accepted?
To retrieve you’re stored or impounded vehicle -cash or credit card only.
For towing or service calls- cash, credit card, or check. To purchase auction vehicles- cash only
